Mount Washington Observatory
A non-profit scientific and educational institution, maintains a permanently staffed observatory at the top of New Hampshire's Mount Washington. Home of the world's worst weather, Mount Washington is 6288 feet above sea level and holds the world record wind of 231 mph. The Observatory conducts environmental observation, educational programs and technical research.

Northern Extremes Snowmobile Rental
Northern Extremes will be offering self guided snowmobile rentals on the Family Friendly Bear Notch snowmobile trail system. This 50 mile closed loop trail system offers spectacular views of Mt Washington & Mt Chocorua. Along the way riders can stop at a scenic vista, picnic along Swift River or look for moose. Trails are patrolled & groomed daily by the State of New Hampshire and White Mountain Trail Club. Northern Extremes is a proud member of White Mountain Trail Club.

Story Land Theme Park
Story Land is the children's theme park where fantasy lives! Story Land opens for its 50th Anniversary season in 2004 on Memorial Day Weekend, May 29-31, and then is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays only through Father's Day, June 20, from 9am-5pm.... We are open 9am-6pm on a daily basis from June 21 through Labor Day, September 6.....
